may it be one of much fun and many blessings for all!!! NYEve we went out for dinner w/ my sister and some good friends at my fave spanish tapas restaurant in tampa and i did all the ordering since i speak spanish ;) then to a bar in ybor city for countdown and champagne. harmony stayed home for my mom's party and got passed around and fed crackers all night. i was so tired because we had just flown in from boston the night before, actually arrived at 1am that morning and then couldn't fall asleep. on saturday we went for our new years bike ride, so nice. as i write this, my child is now pooping as she makes loud grunting and squealing sounds. she hates when we giggle while she does this but it's so hard to hold back. she's funny. she makes me laugh more than anything in my life prior to her existence. i love her immensely. duh.
today i had sushi lunch w/ my sister, mom,& baby, then went to sister's work to show off my baby. people like to hold her, so it's a good thing she REALLY enjoys being passed around- such a social butterfly, which she gets from her dada... although i have my moments, more rare these days than in my younger days. i like being cozy at home or a nice quiet walk or bike ride, but when i lived in boston, i was out almost every night seeing bands, dancing, singing, eating. oh, young city life, so far away now. life is so different, but it's a good different. not that i don't still enjoy a good night out on the town dancing up a storm.... i certainly doooooo. i just tend to have more afternoon dance parties w/ my 10 month old in the living room now :) --and she LOVES them too.
